Carpet Cleaning Questions from Macomb & Oakland Customers

Straight answers on price, timing and what we do and do not handle.

How much does carpet cleaning cost in Macomb and Oakland County?

Carpet cleaning starts at $99 per room. Final pricing depends on the number of rooms, the condition of the carpet, whether stain or pet odor treatment is needed, and whether you add upholstery, rugs or tile to the same visit.

We quote before we start. No hidden fees and no pressure at the door. Request a free estimate and you will know the number up front.

How long does carpet take to dry after cleaning?

You can walk on the carpet carefully right away. Full dry time depends on airflow, humidity and carpet type, and Michigan humidity swings a lot between seasons.

Our truck-mounted equipment pulls out far more moisture than a rental machine, which is the single biggest factor in how fast a room is back to normal. We go over what to expect for your specific carpet at the appointment.

How often should carpets be cleaned in a Michigan home?

Most homes do well on a yearly cleaning. Go more often if you have pets, kids, allergy sufferers, or a busy entryway.

Michigan adds its own problem: road salt and slush get tracked in all winter and grind into the fibers. A lot of our customers book in early spring for exactly that reason.

Is your cleaning safe for kids and pets?

Yes. We offer family-friendly options and focus on a clean finish that helps reduce residue left in the fibers.

Tell us about any sensitivities when you book and we will match the approach to your household.

Are you certified and how long have you been in business?

Fiber Clene is IICRC certified and has been cleaning carpet across Metro Detroit since 2000. That is 26 years working on Michigan homes and businesses.

IICRC certification means our technicians are trained and tested against the industry standard for cleaning and restoration, not just handed a wand and a van.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Macomb County, Oakland County and the southern part of St. Clair County, working out of our shop at 42436 Mound Rd in Sterling Heights.

That includes Sterling Heights, Clinton Township, Shelby Township, Macomb Township, St. Clair Shores, Royal Oak, Troy, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Rochester Hills and Auburn Hills. See every city we serve.

The Hidden Allergens Living in Michigan Carpets (And How Professional Cleaning Removes Them)
